Sponsoring a child is a great way for
individuals and families to personally connect with an individual
child. Through sponsoring a child, you have the awesome
privilege to connect your heart with theirs.
As a sponsor, you
can be involved in your child's life through...
- Cards, letters, and pictures
This is a great way for your child to learn about you and your
family. Through letters and pictures, you can show your
child more of the world and introduce him/her to a new culture.
- Gifts
You can send gifts to your child for birthdays, Christmas,
or anytime throughout the year.
- Prayer
Never underestimate the power of prayer! You will
change the destiny of a child through your prayers.
Specific things to pray for are spiritual growth, inner healing,
daily protection, health, and character formation.
- Financial Commitment
To sponsor a child takes as little as $30 per month.
Your
child can interact with you through...
- Cards and letters
Many times the children will draw pictures or write notes to
their sponsor just to say "hello" or "thank you."
- Pictures
You will periodically receive pictures of your child.
- Annual Updates
Once a year, you will receive an update of your child
informing you of the different activities he/she has been
involved with and the progress and achievements he/she has made.
